Only two working farms operate today but the village’s houses are well preserved as summer retreats by their owners. Bird life is abundant on the island supporting species like Puffins, Eider Decks, Black Guillemots, Kittiwakes, Fulmars, Oystercatchers, Arctic Terns and Ringed Plovers.
